Unlucky Diablo IV Gold player forced to fight world boss alone

World boss events are one of Blizzard's much-hyped new features ahead of Diablo 4's launch. According to Equivalent_Try_0492, this is the first time something like this has happened, and they noted that there were a lot of people in the PVP and Hell Tide events.

Equivalent_Try_0492 isn't the only one reporting having to deal with this issue in Diablo 4, others in the comments have voiced the same type of story. Some comments mentioned that they will appear very early, cannot find anyone, and then be wiped out because their characters are not strong enough to face the world boss alone. One commenter even mentioned that they've played a few Legion events recently and they came up empty as well. The consensus among those forced to complete these activities alone is that there aren't enough people playing the game anymore.
